Since my earliest childhood, falconry has been a passion for me. For understandable reasons, falconry is not well accepted by ecologists. Nevertheless, I sincerely believe that falconry may be of a great benefit to science. Falconers (hunters or not) are the best people for helping scientists to answer essential questions about raptors in diverse fields such as foraging, sensory ecology, movement ecology, etc... A growing number of research projects are done through collaborations between scientists and falconers, in order to resolve unanswered important scientific questions. Falconry flows in my veins, as does science, and I have found it important to share this important hobby. Below, you will find a link to two others websites of associations or companies where I do falconry for hunting and shows.
